Luckily Ashton Lakes, survived the wrath of Milton without major damage to any of the buildings. However multiple trees have been blown down, some carport were destroyed and some lanais were damaged.
If you are not in town, we urge you to have someone inspect your condo and report any damage immediately!
Here are a few updates regarding Hurricane Milton:
• Truscapes is behind schedule due to the amount of damage around Sarasota and Manatee County. They will be here as soon as possible. We will keep everyone informed once I have definitive commitment.
• Brown Tree Services was contacted, and they were on property Saturday (12th) to assess the damage and advise us when they can schedule the cleanup of the trees.
• Wright Way a remediation company that can assist with major clean up especially after a hurricane, such as carports, junk removal, etc. They have been contacted.
• Our office has contacted our insurance provider and started a claim for damages. They will be in touch within the next two business days with a claim number and with more information.
• Buildings that currently have electricity include 8, 10, and 12 (association 3),11 & 13 (association 1), 14 & 15 (association 2), 4 & 3 (association 8),1 (association 10, limited power) 2 (association
9, limited power). The other buildings we are unsure, in the meanwhile there are 6 grills available throughout the community.
• The amenities are currently unavailable.
Please understand that due to the amount of damage to the West Coast of Florida clean up may take longer, since all contractors are busy. Per the FPL message they are estimating that all power is expected to be restored by October 17th. FPL and contractors are working to take care of the most dangerous situations first. Please do not contact the office for updates with FPL, we only have the information that they provide on their website.
We’ll keep everyone informed as things progress!
Thank you for your continued assistance with the clean-up. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
